Day 1 - Arrival in Pisa
Arrive in Pisa. We will transfer you to your hotel in Lucca – build the bikes and head out for a short spin if time permits.
Day 2 - monte serra triple
Day 3 - paphos
Today, we take the spectacular costal road to Paphos and back, taking in the ancient sites along the way. We leave Limassol from Kollosi castle, before passing the Sanctuary of Apollo. The undulating road winds it’s way along the beautiful Mediterrean coast. Around halfway we observe the picturesque sea stack known as ‘The Birthplace of Aphrodite’, and then its full speed for lunch at the Paphos beaches. After lunch, it’s the return leg to Limassol.
Day 4 - ANcient agros
Back into the high mountains for another day. We firstly head back over to Akrapas and then it’s onto a new climb to Skyopetra, with sections up to 20% and incredible views over the valley floor. Taking in the undulating roads before we climb the Agridia pass, a short but steep rise which takes us into our lunch stop in Agros. With most the days climbing done, we enjoy a 20km descent back towards Limassol, with a few kickers in the last 20km home.
Day 5 - rest day
Put your feet up, relax at the beach, or ride – if you’re that way inclined.
Day 6 - mount olympus
The ‘queen stage’ of the week, this ride takes us up and over the Kouris dam on a gradual incline to Moniatis - the start of the gruelling 16km climb through Troodos, to the summit of Mount Olympus sitting at 1962m above sea level. We then ride through the picturesque Paphos forest before cruising down the long descent back into Limassol.
Day 7 - Costal mediterranean
After the efforts of the last week, we take a calmer ride following the Mediterranean coastline towards of Larnarca before stopping for lunch. As a final sting in the tail, we take in the Asgata Pass on our way back to Limassol.
Day 8 - Transfer to Lanarca
We will take you back to the airport for your return flight home
Choose your budget and pick from bed & breakfast or half-board options. Limassol has many food options available within walking distance of your accommodation.
You will be met at Larnarca aiport and transferred to the accommodation in Limassol (~45mins). You wull be taken back to the airport at the end of the holiday unless you have made seperate arrangements to extend your stay in Cyprus.
Your trip will include daily breakfast (b&b) and evening dinner (half-board). However, you will need to purchase your own food and drinks during rides. Drinking water is available from wells in most villages across the Troodos mountain range.
You can choose self-guided, or guided for this trip. Self-guided trips will receive GPS courses (.FIT), prior to the trip which can be loaded into most cycle computers or phone apps. For guided trips, you will have a well trained and knowledgeable guide of the area to assist throughout the trip.
You must have adequate medical and travel insurance including sports cover (road cycling).
